Hey, I'm Summer!
I created Aura Botanicals from a place deep in my heart — from the way a single scent can stop time. One smell of something familiar, and suddenly you’re wrapped in a memory: your grandmother’s kitchen, the warmth of a summer night, the feeling of the first snowfall.
I’ve always been fascinated by how scent connects us to who we are — to the stories we’ve lived and the energy we carry. I wanted to somehow capture that magic. To craft candles that don’t just fill a room with fragrance, but invite you to feel something — to come home to yourself.
Each candle is designed to hold a frequency — a feeling, a story, a moment waiting to unfold. Aura Botanicals is my way of inviting you to slow down, reconnect, and reminisce.

How do I get the best burn from my candle?
Cotton wicks are classic, reliable, and low-maintenance. To get the best burn from your candle, follow these simple steps:
Trim your wick:
Trim your cotton wick to about 1/4” before every burn for a clean, steady flame and less soot.
Enjoy the experience:
Enjoy burning your candle for up to 4 hours, Do not exceed 4 hours. Don’t worry if the sides cling after the 1-4 burns; coconut-apricot wax is thinner and more buttery than traditional waxes and the heat will even out the melt pool over time.
Extinguishing:
Use the candle lid or a snuffer to gently put out the flame—avoid blowing to prevent wax splatter. Retire the candle when about ½” of wax remains.
How to use your candle safely
please follow the warning info located on the bottom of your candle.
- Before every burn, trim wick to 1/4" before lighting.
- always burn your candle within sight. do not burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
- keep burning candles away from flammable materials, children and pets.
- do not light on or near any objects that can catch fire, in drafty rooms and do not place on or near other heat sources.
- burn candle on heat resistant surfaces only.
My candle is tunnelling! What should I do?
Coconut apricot wax behaves differently than soy or paraffin — it may take a few burns before the wax fully pulls away from the sides. Don’t worry — as the candle burns lower in the vessel, the heat catches up and melts the remaining wax evenly.
If you experience a lot of uneven melting deeper in the vessel, carefully scrape wax edges with a butter knife or try wrapping foil around the top of the jar to reflect heat evenly.
